I started teaching kids in our church when I was in high school, specifically children ages 7 to 10 years old. Every Sunday we fetch children near in our church and taught them about the Bible.
That is the reason why I chose Elementary Education as may course in college, though teaching is not my first choice but the Lord lead me to another path which was teaching. I started to love teaching during my on the job training. I was assigned to a five year old- student who was a non-verbal and it challenged me. It was very hard at first but with patience, hard work and passion to teach a small word that the child can utter was fulfilling on my part as a teacher and there is joy in helping and teaching children with special needs. Same as to those children that are going to be my students in the future, I am excited to impart to them what I have learned and touch their hearts through teaching. ?
